Feb. 15, 2012-Glass Art
Sue Elgar, well known glass artist,
specializes in borosilicate glass.
She will discuss her glass lampworking process and
demonstrate glass engraving.
March 21, 2012-Water Soluble Oils
Lynn Tietz, current president of the Addison Art Guild, has
received many awards for her paintings using water soluble
oils. Using oil paint with no solvents, Lynn will demonstrate
on three different paintings
in various stages of completion.
Saturday, March 31st, 2012-Mixed Media Workshop-Fee $35 for LAG Members, $40 Non-Members
Annette Perone Leiber is an award winning artist who works in
many mediums from painting in acrylics, oils, watercolor and
pastels, sculpture, scratch board, pen & ink, printmaking and
mixed media. Annette will provide her expertise in this Mixed
Media Workshop.
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lemont Public Library

Supplies to bring: Old brushes, acrylic paints, found objects,
scissors, water can (Anything you wish to incorporate on your
canvas ... think of a theme). The LAG will supply each participant
with a 16x20 inch canvas board.

* April 11, 2012-Polymer Clay
Patty Pulliam, past president of the Chicago Area Polymer
Clay Guild,
will give a program on different techniques to
use with this very versatile medium.
May 16, 2012-Mata Ortiz Pottery
Linda Berck, recently retired ceramics teacher at
Lemont High School, will talk about the
Many Faces of Mata Ortiz Pottery of Mexico.
The people of Mata Ortiz use natural dyes and brushes made
from human hair to create geometric designs.
